As you create a blog, consider it's use for you and your students. Consider how you might use this tool with students: Will you have them reflect on concepts that they are learning? Will you have them pose questions and respond to each other? Will you have them communicate with people around the world? Consider how a blog might be useful for your role as an educator: Will you also use your blog to communicate with parents and the community? Will you use it to address pedagogy? Share resources? Keep these ideas in mind as you organize your plans for this tool.
